02MG03_054 This coat of arms was rescued from the builders who converted Town Mill into retirement homes. The Portal family placed similar plaques on a number of their buildings. Quick thinking by Richard Oram saved this one as it was about to "disappear". It now has a new home in the east side wall of the St Mary's Hall garden. By Tony Morris
