10_2TR001 Overton Station c.1912. The railway was opened in 1854. The station buildings were demolished in 1969 following the Beeching Report. In the early days there was a pub called the Railway Arms. Note the tall pole for carrying telephone wires. From The Greyhound public house & Jim Stickland
