1964 - The top part of Kingsclere Road - At the bottom left corner is Foxdown Farm House , former home of the Annells family. Moving up the hill on the left is a house that was demolished and the site redeveloped. The close at the top is Hill Meadow. Bottom right shows part of "The Chalets" - temporary accommodation for Bank of England Workers during WW2 - later used as council housing - now demolished and the site is part of the Foxdown redevelopment
