The man in the background is Solly Kersley who I believe played a major role in organizing the carnivals for several years. The Queen's attendant on the right is Eve Etheridge. The young girl presenting the flowers is Janice Stott. This took place on the veranda at Overton School, Lordsfield, when it was still housed in ex-army huts. Photo from Janice Stott
