01_3SL_00_00 St Luke's Hall was built by The Bank of England as a social club for its employees who had been evacuated to Overton during WW2. It was given to the village in 1946 in thanks for the hospitality shown by the village to the many B of E employees who stayed here. Shown here in 1982. From Brian Burgess
