Paul Holmes holding the Aliston Cup. Overton Bellringers won it the first time it was contested in the Basingstoke District of the Winchester and Portsmouth Diocesan Guild of Bellringers (BDWPDGB). Paul was Bell Captain. He was a bellringer for 50 years and is an Honorary Life Member of the BDWPDGB. The cup winners (L to R) were Raymond Hassell, Rev. Sanders, his daughter Ruth Sanders, Paul Holmes, Ray's daughter Christine Hassell and Michael Holbrooke.
