19_1SG_02_03 There was no scout hut so they met in the garden at Southington during the summer and in the house in winter. Although untrained the two girls took the cubs off to camp each year with the help of two Rover Scouts. After 1929 Sophie and Celia took over (Celia until marriage in 1937). The 5th daughter, Margaret, was involved with the Girl Guides. From Mary Gunn
