07_OA00_05 In the days before emails with photos attached or images sent by mobile phones, post cards were the easiest way of sending home a picture of where you were visiting. These were originally all in black and white because there was no colour photography. But some post card producers became quite skilful at painting colour tints on the cards, as shown in these four local scenes.
