16PE007_02 This shows the same family members as in the previous photo plus, at the back, three brothers of the younger William - (LtoR) Tom, Alfred and Charles. In 1809 William (the elder) bought the ancient Overton Sheep Fair Rights from the Bishop of Winchester for £105. The Fair was held on 18th July each year on the 20 acre fair close east of Sapley Lane. From Anne Stockill
